The characters Bibi, Coco and Torro were devised and created by Brigitte (1973) and Francis Liem (1969). These two women share a passion: drawing and design!

Both completed a creative degree at the University of Delft. Francis is an industrial designer focusing on the toys industry. Brigitte is an architect and lighting designer.

Their love of drawing and composing stories led to the birth of Bibi, Coco and Torro. They began Studio Limon in 2006. They now do illustration and design under that name.

Their inspiration is the observation of the simple, everyday things which (their) children experience.
